Is Broadband Worth It?

Can any experienced home surfers confirm whether having a Broadband connection is worth it as opposed to the usual dialup?

If so can anyone recommend the best deal out there for light to medium use? Tiscali or BT?

i have plusnet, which is pretty average.

broadband is MUCH quicker than dial-up and is always connected so you can download stuff overnight

yes yes yes, once you move from dialup to Broadband your never go back i use 600k ntl at £29 a month and it very good.

Broadband is excellent compared with dialup, particularly if your housemate is paying for it!!!

plusnet is very very good.

pays for itself. Tonight i watch SM2, the other day i watched FH9/11 in the comfort of my home with a beer.

If you are into music and movies it is definately worth it.

its good mate but make sure you have anti-virus - i didnt activate mine until 2 days later - now i have a f***ing qhosts trojan that i cant get rid of!!
