1. Women. Best I've ever seen on par with Leningrad. Absolutely everywhere. All sound like a vamp out of a horror movie. Which can be quite disturbing, until you remember Vampire Lovers.
2. "Clubs" Been done many times b4 on here, but it is all true and when you combine with 1 means

3. Hotel. Ibis Just north/ East of Wencelas Sq. £23 pp pn. 5 mins walk from Wencelas Sq.
4. Opposite Ibis. A great mexican with relative cheap food but great for carniviores and veggies.
5. Cheap beer. Everywhere. Best bargain on LILIOVA just south of Karlova (this leads to Charles Bridge) 3 or 4 places competing at 18 or 19 kronar or less than 50 p.
6. Great Beer. Don't just drink Pils, the Dark beer is fantastic especially if you are a beer / bitter fan. Comes in at 35 k plus or 80 p upwards.
7. Two great beer venues. U FLeku, on Kremencova 11, imagine east of a little island called Slovansky Ostroy and south of a road called Narodni (this has a Tesco on it) Its also west of Wescelas Sq. It brews dark beer since 1499, fantastic haunt.
In an area on the west side of Charles Bridge, on its south side, as you cross the bridge from the east, you will see an orange / yellow venue, its a gigantic historic pub. With a beer garden over lokking the river. Preseident Putin goes there and it presently possesses the best styunner in Prague, bot she turned theheads of 12 lads everytime she moved. Two pints of jugs. Stunning. In the area of this pub there are another 5 or six venues. Whilst we were there , they were quiet but historic.
8 Special club for people who like U2 Clash ACDC etc etc. I believe its called Harley, its on Dlouha, its more of a pub. Fantastic atmosphere,, possesses, 1 (see above) and bar staff that took great pride in fire eating. Brialliant. Dlouha is off the Staromestka Nam , north eastern corner pass George and Dragon.
9. On Dlouha is an Indian and a great Lebanese DAHAB about 200 m down with water pipes. It also has a great kebab place or in my case Falafels.
10. Go east of Strromestka Nam along Celetna is a tower called the Gunpowder Tower I believe. Next door is the national threatre. In the basement of teh Threatre is the American bar, art nouveau style in black and brass and iviry, we felt privalege to be such a cultured place.
But back along Celetna is
11. A great cigar shop.

12. Russian dolls in the Brighton Strip
Being cultured
13. Staromestka Nam is as beautiful sq. as I have ever been in. Go up ther Church Tower for fantastic views by enertering thru the Tourist Office.

16 Go up the Castle's Catherdral Tower, costs £2.50 for stunning views of Prague and two football stadiums.
17. Go east from Charles Bridge along Karlova pass another Russian Doll shop with the Brighton strip and back to the Staromestka Nam.

Yep, its all good.
I just got back from Prague last night after a three night trip. Feel I need a holiday to recover now tho! Far too many good bars and restaurants. And cheap as chips too.

it takes it out of you though - I have czech neck (from looking up at all the sights) cobble foot (from all the walking) and in serious need of detox. haven't managed to summon the strength to get up and dressed yet today!
Just a couple of other things, LC:-
1, If you'd recommend it, what was the name of your hotel?.
Ours was a little way out, & could do with 1 nearer for next time.
2, Have they updated the stack doll team, from, LK, Butts, Chippy, Blaney & OGH.

Just to pass the afternoon, we went into a "bar" to watch Everton -Fulham, I know that's not normal. But we needed a beer and a show was offered!.

Silence followed and I gather so did the price. But unfortunately for her she won't win a beauty contest even in a Rumanian salt mine.
