Presumably the England fans that live in continental Europe that made the journey and cheered the team on so well last night, having settled in foreign parts, are a bit more respectful of local cultures, traditions and anthems that the only constabulary interventions necessary were for directions.

They were brilliant, 100% behind the team, no boo’ing of the knee, the anthem or the crying girl, no trouble for the locals or police, great to see
