BBC4 are repeating an old TOTP2 show of Irish hits. I caught it on St Patrick's Night and, like the Aussie themed one I moaned about a while back, the selection was so dull and pedestrian. Okay they are limited to TOTP appearances, but this doesn't excuse padding the show with no less than 4 U2 appearances.

Come on then NSC. We're not limited to bands who appeared on TOTP. Post your favourite tunes by Irish artists old and new.

Here are a couple to start:

A House's underrated glam rock throwback from the 1990s:

And I have to post Microdisney because nobody else will. This should have been a massive hit:

Maybe it’s because u2 were/are the biggest rock band in the world, and to ever come out of Ireland, that they made more appearances at the BBC than say Jedward?

I’ll go against the OPs request with one U2 song because it reminds me of Championship football highlights back when we didn’t see the Albion on TV that often and streams were more to do with water flowing

I think of football whenever I hear this (rather good) song

An early musical favourite of mine. I still have a couple of their vinyl albums from the 60's on Major Minor records. The label was always important to me.
