Falmer was approved in July 2008 says the article.

It was 2007. Sack the author.

Marvellous stuff. When you open the PDF it makes you drool a little. Still what would you expect from a publication called NSC. :falmer:

Oh and it's apparently 9 miles from the city centre.

They are even asking the same questions as us!

"This is three months before the 2011/12 football season kicks off, with the only remaining question being – which division will Brighton & Hove Albion be in then?"

I wonder if they have a 1066 in this parallel universe or would it be a 9901?

I agree it does make one drool. however i'm disappointed to see from the pic that it has already been built and hosted a football game. From a business model point of view i'm surprised the club didn't tell us. More behaviour like that and we'll end up like Palace.

Wow....a whole new NSC

Do you know what, I clicked on that link and went to the site, I then downloaded the .pdf and ventured back here to see your reply. Pausing momentarily to take it in I realised "oh yes, the acronym for this publication would also be NSC, well done Easy 10" before I flicked back to the site and saw the big red letters at the top of my screen that I had somehow missed before, which simply said NSC.

i dont think it can be. being the loser i am, i did the walk from brighton station to falmer in august to see how far it is and despite getting lost it took me under an hour and a half.

It's about 5 miles to Falmer, but 9 miles to Lewes.

If it was the FL and FA wouldn't have sanctioned it. They said the stadium had to be no more than six miles from the Pavilion. Therefore if you take that as a point of reference and seeing as I ran 9 miles on Sunday which was down the Droveway into Shirley Drive once round Hove Rec then once round Hove Park down through to George Street then along the seafront to Southwick well the Deep Sea Anglers club then back the same way but going up the Drive and round Hove Rec finishing 9 miles outside the Tesco's on The Droveway......I reckon it is about 4 miles out to Falmer from the City Centre.

Are we still on schedule to have the steel erected by July? That is a huge amount of work to be completed over the next 5 months. As a point of reference, the first steel started going up nearly 7 months ago.

I've worked with Watson steel before. Top guys...tried creaming the dayworks though. Their yard was close to the Reebok Stadium in Bolton
