although you're obviously forgetting the "battle of cardiff" a few weeks back

or the bowyer-dyer BATTLE that reminded all onlookers of some of muhammed ali's greatest fights:)

The Cardiff thing was puire HANDBAGS. And even Lee Bowyer couldn't bring himself to throw a punch at his most hated enemy, any black man. :lolol:

This makes that Cardiff contretemps look even more handbagsier than before. Yet again our supposedly finest English clubs are shown up by our European counterparts...

Inter were fined two years ago and ordered to play four games behind closed doors due to crowd violence. Will Uefa crack down on the club and players this time?

Then again, remember how they fined Mihajlovic less for his racist abuse of Patrick Vieira, than they then did Vieira for complaining about that leniency?

Way out west
UEFA will probably fine both clubs massively, yet they continue to hand out derisory punishments where there are cases of racial abuse...bunch of old tossers.

Funny thing is if that was going on in the crowd the Police would have waded in with therir batons but just standing around watching the players fight in the tunnel!!

True - but they don't see themselves as police of the gladiators. If they did, they might wade in every time there's a nasty foul, or Rooney swears at the linesman.
That might be quite amusing though...come to think of it....

good point !!

I wonder if he will be charged with Violent Disorder and get banged up for 3 years !

Also wonder if he has to surrender his passport whenever there is a big tournament ???

Reading the BBC website, I can only assume he is this bloke........

"Valencia's David Navarro sparked a free-for-all after breaking Nicolas Burdisso's nose, with players from both teams becoming involved. "

He was actually an unused sub. Not even involved in any part of the game.
