Florida BHA relayed news of the result to Connecticut BHA who were at at a rounders game at something called "Fenwick Park" or something like that.
I absolutely love the Albion. Delighted for everyone there tonight and it must be all the sweeter for everyone who sat through Saturday.
Let's hope this is the springboard to better things to come this season.
Looking forward to the coverage from the muppets on Fux Saccer Channel.
Especially the sweaty who apparently knows chuff all about the beautiful game. Just going to take the top of another beer and sit down to enjoy
the highlights.
Did I mention that I love the Albion?

At least you get to see "Saccer". All I get is ESPN, with Rounders & NFL.......& now & again, f***ing cards on telly!

Can't get DirecTV where you are then? All of the actual live (English) coverage on Fax is Sky. You also get the Fox Soccer Report every night. At first I thought that every presenter on there was a helmet of the first order but funnily enough after a while you get to quite like Jeremy , Derek and Mitch. There's also a Scot called Bobby McMahon who truly does not seem to have a scooby doo about anything. I'm convinced he must have been walking past the studio one day and they just assumed (God knows why) that as he was a sweaty he must know something about football.

Anyway fate took a hand tonight on the occasion of the Albions biggest result for years , and you might enjoy this one , "the report" is not on until midnight because of live coverage of the CONCACAF Champions League and Juan Albion's faves Joe Public are in action.
Satan farts in my face once more!

What is really annoying is that you cannot get internet radio coverage of footie matches from Radio 5 live in the States due to "contractual reasons" - but some good news, Time Warner are supposed to be including Setanta as a PPV option on cable.

I've got DirecTV (satellite as opposed to Cable). They offer Setanta but I don't subscribe. The drawback with satellite down here in Florida where spectacular thunder storms are the norm is it knocks your telly out. Remember once paying 25 bucks for the England v Northern Ireland game. Telly went out 3 times because of the storm and EVERY fecking time it coincided with and England goal!

So what's life in the Big Apple like then? One of my mates lives in Hoboken which I quite like. He's a single bloke though. I've got 3 kids so for me Florida is a better bet.

Chuffed as monkeys with tonight's result. Times like this that you miss home.

Yea, I'd prefer DirectTV but most appartment in NYC only allow cable unfortunately.

I've only been in NYC about 6 months but really like it - lots going on and good bunch of Brits and Yanks at work ....but with all the financial cock ups going on not sure if I'll have a job that much longer ! I work in construction and they're bound to pull the plug on some projects.

Agree about missing not being in Brighton for nights like tonight - I was at work relying on NSC and texts from mates in UK to keep up with the action - finger biting stuff.
