I thought Steward was getting the "wanker" chants, after kicking out a bloke and his girlfriend?

Didn't she punch the steward?

Saw some bloke got arrested, and his girlfriend went mental. Not sure what he had done tho.

The stewarding was a joke today. One of my mates got abuse hurled at him for the majority of the game about being gay and the stewards didn't do anything. Eventually they then got 8 police officers to stand and watch him to see if he did anything.

Of course he's not gonna gob off whens there's 8 police staring at him.

When we told the stewards they just kept telling us to watch the game.

The same bloke then shook the stewards hand when he left.

She did, it was right beside me. Don't know what the bloke was kicked out for though.

Sounds quite good if she punched the guy.Stewards weren't a problem for me today. Then again,i was in the sitting part of our stand! But a copper had to come and sort out a guy near me about his seat when,a nice lady who i hadn't met before but chatted to me about the ground etc,was told to f off by this guy when she asked about where to sit.It was out of order but this lady did enjoy the game overall, and, like me was dissapointed by the result.

Don't you just hate it when people want to sit where they have paid too? :lolol: :lolol:

Errr yes I do especially whan it's 2.55 and they f***ing insist on sitting there.

Your problem with that is................

I'd rather it was always unallocated seating - saves so much nonsense with over-zealous stewards on power trips.

It's an age-old argument that's always rears it's ugly head at big away games. You've got your regular travellers who tend to sit/stand where they like, and you've got the (f***ing pain in the arse) day-trippers who think they're going to the theatre and insisit on sitting in their allocated seat.

The only way around it is for the home club to clearly state, either on the ticket like at Luton the other night, or via the stewards on the day, exactly what the policy is and enforce it 100%. That is the only way you're going to stop arguing between fans of the same team.

Why the f*** should they find somewhere else to sit only to be moved on the same by other people, if you sat in the right place no problem. :salute:

Should be aloud to sit where you like. However, why couldn't we have had the whole stand behing the goal, and kick those Saints fans out.We would have had many more Albion then.

Because the police told Southampton they could only allow 3000 away fans today.
