Southwick Green is no more or less suitable than any of the other sites being discussed as alternatives to Falmer, so I thought we'd propose it!

IN OUR BACK YARD, PLEASE!

There are people in every location
Embittered with prejudiced greed
Each one a disgrace to our county
In the Albion’s hour of need
‘Not here!’ they all scream as a chorus.
‘Please build the thing way over there!’
And the one thing they all have in common
Is they’re NIMBYS, and they just don’t care.

My wife and I both love the Albion.
We won’t whine while our club’s on its knees.
So we issue this proud invitation:
Dick, build it in our back yard, PLEASE.
Good transport links, next to the station.
I’m sure all the neighbours are keen.
And the Cricketers pub will make millions.....
Our new stadium - on Southwick Green!

(Just one provision though: Robina says can we have the home end at the end of our road, please?)

that would ROCK, 20mins from my house & theres a pub on the way (two if I divert to the Windmill) and then pre-match beers in the Cricks...I'm all for it!




If not what about Southwick Rec by the leisure centre?

thats a top idea the rec would be great even though my cricket team would lose there home pitch!! also we could have southwick FC as our Feeder club!!!!
