I'm glad we went out today and it showed the job's not completely done yet. The job being us being a threatening force in a higher division. Period. Felt sorry for Brez, maybe an outing in the last league game might have settled his nerves a bit but I respect the boss' steadfast approach to the cup in order to secure our longterm greatness. Bring on the plymouth!!

Casper should have played in goal for at least 3/4 of the game. A shakey goalkeeper has to be carried and does not give confidence to the rest the team and the opposition will easily use that weakness to their advantage.
We should have done better and we all know that.

I like how people forget we have already beaten 2 championship teams. That is the level we need to play at, not prem.

I actually think we played pretty well. We knew their main threat would come from balls into the box and they would be hard to defend. With Brez far from his best today it was always going to be hard. In the second half we were the better team, mind you Stoke probably took their foot off the gas a little.

Absolutely agree. Can't believe some of the negativity on here today. We struggle most against big, physical league one sides so why did people think we were going to beat Stoke, who are the experts at that type of game? We held our own without eight players who would have been in the 18 man squad usually and just couldn't deal with their set pieces, hardly surprising considering how many 6ft + players the two teams have got.

We can now concentrate on the league and our position at the top was strengthened even further yesterday without playing so lets focus on that. We are playing some of the best football in years, have been top of the league for the longest time in our history and got further in the FA Cup than we have in 25 years. So instead of slagging off individuals, why not look forward to Plymouth on Tuesday when we will hopefully have a few players back and hope for another win to further strengthen our position at the top.
