I don’t think I’ve ever seen any oppo fans celebrating in the 1901 area we’re in, WSM central. Perhaps we’re lucky as the vast majority of our neighbours are familiar faces and many/most were there at Withdean and before.

Away fans using 1901 are not allowed any colours and are told to behave responsibly as they are at our home ground. I know there has been a tiny number of instances I’ve heard about elsewhere but I honestly can’t remember the last time.
I gave my ticket to a friend, a Spurs fan, and arranged another next to mine for his young Spurs supporting lad last season. I explained the rules, the guys around me knew who they were, they behaved themselves and didn’t draw any attention. I understand there was some friendly teasing. No one I know had any issue with them being there.

The only away fan I ever gave mine to was a young(ish) lad at work who took his six year old
son to the Bristol City match, he didn’t have a pot to piss in so I did something nice and he was very greatful.
The dad/lad pair next to me gave their tickets to an Ipswich fan and his daughter once (an evening match) I didn’t really know the bloke next to me well but he bought me a drink at the next match and told me his mate described me as “a really nice bloke”
In a nutshell, I haven’t a problem with away fans, I do have a problem with twats.
I’ve mentioned many times on here that four of us were in the Ajax end but despite drinking all day we didn’t antagonise anyone, we still enjoyed the game greatful in the knowledge we’d got in. (and all the beer went where it was meant to!)

Be fascinating to see fan-by-fan attendance %……..how many do 100% and downwards. I probably do around 75% and am comfortably in T1 even for Bournemouth, maybe there’s 1000 or so that do the vast majority of games (Bournemouth tiks sold on day 1 approx). Agree there’s probably a lot of churn below that, people picking and choosing their games
Spoke to someone on Friday who only does one awayday each season (Liverpool) and I suspect he is not alone. he wasn't one of the overt Liverpool fans in the Brighton end sort of a 50/50 a Brighton season ticket holder who grew up also looking at Liverpool.

I'll probably end up doing 60-70% of them this season, missed Newcastle, Everton and Arsenal (distance, s**thole &distance, wedding). My brother lives in the north and and goes to the northern games, at Liverpool he made the comment that it seemed there were a completely different set of fans as to Newcastle.

A lot of very young fans (teens, 20's) travelled to Newcastle? Going by the TV footage of the winner being celebrated.
