How do you say REMF?

I have always PASSIONATELY believed that it is pronunced as Ar Ee Em Eff, reminding me of some sort of weird fusion between two fine bands of the 90s.

However, The Large One, ALAN, was apparently heard PRATTLING on the Albion Roar, referring to "wremff", whatever the f*** that is. A disgraceful bastardisation of the name of Sussex's NUMBER ONE charity.
