i was testing an editor that is used while the game is running, so i added myself as palace manager, gave them billions so i could release all the players on frees (selling the ones the board blocked for £0) then when all they had were rubbish 17 year olds, took away all the money, reduced the stadium to a 30 seat capacity and made them amateur before resigning.

they were relegated by xmas with 2 points
