Sorry to put three argus items on here together but I know a lot of you live outside of it's catchment area. Helen Mason of Woodingdean thinks the stadium should be built at Waterhall because of it's better road and rail links. She also states that as Sussex University is north of the by-pass there is no reason why the stadium shouldn't be. Perhaps we should buy her a map for Christmas as the by-pass only runs between Stanmer Park and Shoreham.
She then says he should remain neutral when confronted with the hysterical, fanatical and obsessive march by Falmer supporters who refuse to even consider possible alternative sights. They blindly follow their leaders never questioning their judgement, like lemmings leaping off cliffs to their own destruction.
Why are Woodingdean people so against the stadium, as surely only fans from Peacehaven Woodingdean and Rottingdean would use their road, and there can't be that many of them.

Not all Woodingdean people are against the stadium.
My Mum lives there and I know several Albion fans who live there.
Once again it is just the odd minority.

To be honest I have no problem with anyone who in some way will be affect being against the stadium. It is there right the same as it is ours to be for it. What really winds me up though is when these people do not research their facts or seem to think that we as fans are either misguided, idiodic or just holigans.

Then the Argus prints them without pointing out the errors in the letters like the bypass etc.

In a reverse way it works for us because it shows these people up for their ignorance and stupidity.

Helen Mason is the one person who keeps writing about this. Her previous letters in the Argus are equally ill-informed. She clearly despises football / football fans / anything affecting (for better or worse) Woodingdean / humanity. With the number of letters she keeps writing, maybe methinks the lady doth protest too much?

The more she writes, the more the case against the other sites look shakier. And don't forget, Falmer is approved - it's just that we have to prove that the other sites are not good enough.

Interesting she doesn't put Sheepcote Valley as her preferred choice. Wonder why...
