...would you take a point from Charlton this weekend?

Normally I think this would be a yes, but because we beat them last we played them, plus we're top and they seem to be a bit inconsistent, I've got a feeling we might properly attack them. And we all know Barnes is going to smash four past a team soon.

So I say NO, get into 'em. I want THREE points.

Agreed.

I would be happy to take a GUNG-HO approach to this one. Worth the risk, IMO.

I wouldn't be too upset to get a point but agree we should be going all out for the win, we're more than capable of taking all 3 points

quite often you see a back lash from a team after a heavy defeat but I feel we'll be looking to take out our frustrations from Saturday on them

Might take a point if we hadn't dropped 4 in the last two games. We need to get back to winning, and although Charlton aren't that great a win there does set down a marker, having lost at the only other big ground we've played so far.

We need to also be a bit cautious of Charlton late on in this game

We've obviously conceded late goals in the last 2 matches while Charlton have scored 7 goals in the last 5 minutes so far this season

I'd take a point, purely for superstitious reasons - if I say I want all three we'll end up with none.

No way. There is no chance we won't win this game. In fact, I'd say it's probably about as confident as I have been about any match this season. I'd even say I'm more sure we will beat Charlton than Yeovil at home the week after.

Oh dear. This post is far too similar to an Uncle Spielberg "going LARGE" bet for my liking

I am never happy with a draw unless we have pulled it back from being a defeat a minute from the end. I am waiting for us to give someone a spanking and Barnes to score a spectacular hatrick. I'll settle for that this weekend

People keep mentioning that we're going to hammer a team soon, am I alone in thinking we've not really ever looked like doing that yet? I wouldn't be surprised if we went all season without scoring more than 3 in a game

You haven't noticed that Barnes has APPARENTLY missed a hatfull of sitters nearly every game? :lolol:

Hell no. Get at them early. They have been largely disappointing thus far. Pass them into submission and get the fans on their backs.

Looking forward to this one. Sitting in the home end with three Charlton fans. The Brighton end was great fun to watch last season. More of the same please.

Charlton arent that good this season. The likes of Saints and Albion should expect to collect the points against those clagnuts.
