Garages aren't such a stupid idea as an investment, I thought about the idea for a while some time ago. A garage in Edinburgh cost about £5k at the time, I reckon the rental income would be maybe a hundred quid a month, so it doesn't take the brains of a nuclear scientist to realise that you recoup your investment in about 4 years then it is profit all the way.
