If we go down , how do you think we would fair in league 1. Teams like Forest , Gillingham & Rotherham have had a struggle while Grimsby went straight out the year before.

I think if we have the team we have got at the moment we will still struggle to score enough goals, I can see us being mid table with perhaps threatning to make the play offs at some point during the season. All pretty un-spectaculer I'd imagine.

What do you think ?

Just chuckling at Charlton
Its all relative if you go down because inevitably Frutos and Carole would want to go and it is who you replace them with which would shape how you done, plus you would still need a bloke to put the ball in the net.

You're SO depressing.

Just be positive and optimistic for once in your life!

This is when the team need us to get behind us...if we are resigned to it then they will too

it's a question . don't read too much into it.

McGhee said at the weekend we might not have enough so don't think my question on a DISCUSSION board is in any way going to effect our destiny , especially as at the games I'mm 100% behind the team and extremely vocal

Relegation or promotion.

We wont have Carole, Frutos or McShane for definite and Butters, Oatway et al will be a year older.

BUT

Gatting, Robinson, Lynch, Hinshelwood, El Abd, Hammond et al will all be a year older and could make us competitive.

And that's before taking into account the players sold in the summer to balance the books? :(
Don't forget though, next season is the FUTURE - and we've got loads of players for that.

Remember last time we went down we lost Bobby Zamora in the process but then signed Leon Knight who bagged plenty of goals.

The future is impossible to predict
