if relegated Carlisle are poised to apply to the scottisk league but should they be allowed to start in the premiership shouldnt they have to work they way uo like play Elgin City and alike in scots div 3? and like the sheep of cardiff shouldnt be allowe din the ENGLISH league the sh1te of Carlisle shouldnt really be allowe din the jocks league, even though they practically have half a leg across Hadrians wall already

PS its no wind up but Carlisle for obvious reasons think more finacially viable and they are closer to the great clubs of Queen of THe South and Stranraer than Margate and Crawley after all!

I can't see it being financially viable for Carlisle to join the Scottish League ... even successful Scottish 2nd and 3rd Div clubs only get gates of between 500 and 1,000.

Even in the SCottish Premier League outside Celtic and Rangers the others such as Hibs and Hearts are lucky to break 10,000.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
FG, you are an utter utter ****.

Berwick Rangers have no asperation whatsover of playing in the English Leagues and have a special place in Scottish football, (Rangers fans do not need reminding), many of the more northern clubs see it as a gala day because they normally make a weekend of it there, or in Newcastle and its a mini break for fans and players alike.

Why dont you stick to subjects that you know about, like interfering with yourself.

Yes, you can. Gretna moved from the English system to the Scottish system.

For the record, the Carlisle plan was one of Knight's harebrained schemes of several years ago. It isn't going to happen.

And Berwick is not like Carlisle. The town may (officially) be in England, but the county is in Scotland, and the town is, to all intents and purposes, Scottish. Carlisle, admittedly, has on occasion been in Scotland, but only due to relatively short-lived military conquest. It is, and has been for a very long time, in England (along with the county of which it is a part). Unlike Berwick...
