I hope he doesn't, would be devastating and after such a great night on Tuesday. He is a quality manager and has done an excellent job for us.
But...
I remember feeling like this when Micky was linked with Leicester and we were choked and it was hard to see how we were going to recover. But Dick did us proud. Got in a manager who despite being a twat took us to our second title in two seasons. Unfortunately, being a shop window for managerial talent is one of the things that makes us such an attractive proposition. I would rather have a superb manager for a year than a manager taking us nowhere for three years.
In the past DK has made some excellent appointments and has, I hope, learned from his mistakes with Wood and Hinshelwood.
Personally I don't think it's cut-and-dried and that he may not br off to Reading, but I will not take anything for certain until it's confirmed.
And if he does go to Reading then I hope their ground burns down.
