I have been working away from my girlfreind recently and its put some pressure and strain on us, having a text and phone relationships isnt easy as most of you proberly have expierienced.

I am planning on taking her way for new years and cant think what to do.

Going abroad is going to prove too expensive, with paying for 2 flights and accom could get into silly figures.

I was thinking summit like a cottage in the countryside of the dales or something along those lines.

Has anyone got any plans to do something simular or has any decent ideas?

Thanks

I would find a nice Inn with a good bar, might prove better atmosphere and you only have to stumble up some stairs once celebration is over. I imagine booking fairly soon would be a wise idea though.

If I was you I would take her up the shit box on New Years eve. Cheap and very enjoyable (for you).
