When A player has to go off the pitch for treatmnet after a bad Tackle from an opponent, that team as a disadvantage by breaking the rules.
So why not make the player that made the tackle go off as well till the player who is injuried is able to come back on.

Well yes in a way, but only untill the injuried player came back on.
How pissed would you be if you let in a goal while down to 10 men due to foul play by the other side?

I reckon that would make cheats FAKE even more injuries..

Yeah, thats the problem with the idea.

Say you were a short, fairly average winger or something, particularly one that has little input into set pieces. You get upended running down the wing fairly inocuously, nothing nasty or painful but a foul.

Then you realise that you were taken down by their best centre-half. If you stay down, you have to go off, but so does he, in which case your team can put a cross from the free kick over into the box without their best defender there.

What if the player gets clattered by the KEEPER then ? Do the other team have to do without their goalie ?

The standard rule as it is doesn't apply to goalkeepers.

Quite a good idea. What about this for an idea?
When a player gets injured and he goes off the pitch for treatment he has to stay off the pitch for a minimum of three minutes. This I think would help stop the increasing number of fake injuries we see in games, when a player pretends he is injured to disrupt the play.

Hasnt the rule just changed? I always seem to remember that a player could stay on the field if he had been hurt as the result of a foul and then got treatment, he only had to leave the field when injured during a challenge.

So you're penalising the team thats been fouled, as they automatically go down to 10 men for 3 minutes.

I like it.

And whenever a game goes to a penalty shoot-out, each team must nominate beforehand which of their five kicks Diana Ross must take...

Nice idea way above, by the way, but would never happen nor work. Cheat's charter, etc...
Just get the player off the pitch and back on again, soon as possible, ref - no fannying around from victim, culprit or, most importantly, ref himself, and game can usually carry on fine...

Football's got by okay so far for almost 150 years - no need for too many well-meaning, too-awkward rule changes just yet, just now...
