I am not sure who is paying for the stadium, but Tony Bloom does not have £40 million, let alone £40 million he can loan out interest free. Yes the story sounds good, yes the story fits in with some of the facts and other rumours, but it is just not possible so it is not true.

I read the thread and saw speculation that it was PROBABLY interest free but lots of caveats that it could be a loan from someone who trusts the club. Not quite nonsense but I'd wager you misread what some posters had to say and missed entirely the caveats. I'd also wager that your denials of the Bloom fortunes mean that you have no idea at all whether your statement below is true or not.

But that was not interest free.

Point taken but my initial post and indeed the whole point of this thread was to point out that anyone can post I have heard, followed by a statement but it does not make it correct. Lots of people are getting parts of the story, hearing different parts from someone else then making their own story. This then gets passed off as a new story which joins the merry-go-round that is NSC and the current Falmer / board situation.

Personally I hope the guy does have the cash and is willing to invest it. So long as he is doing it to improve the club and not to line his own pockets I do not care. Likewise I do not care if a by-product of helping the club is that he lines his own pockets. That goes for anyone who has the cash and wants to invest in the club.
