When the next manager is appointed, lets not give him/her a contract, but a piece of paper that says something like:

"Thankyou for joining us and please be aware that you can speak to whoever you want, whenever you want and you can definately use us as a stepping stone to better things. We will not have a stadium of our own for at least 5 years, and because of our current record in retaining staff, please be aware of this and don't use it as a feeble excuse when in 6 months you decide to leave" PS The compensation package required by BHAFC will be ....insert rediculous sum here.....and this will not be used to strengthen the squad, but will dissapear in the black hole known as the "falmer fighting fund"

Coppell knew full well what the Falmer situation was, but I bet he didn't realise that not one new pee of the Zamora money would go towards the squad! I wonder if this has any bearing on him going?

Well said,

I can't help wondering if he took the small amount of money for Zamora, because he was thinking of leaving.

I suspect that DK was in charge of those negotiations.

No it isn't well said at all. First off all managers tend to use lower division clubs as stepping stones or last resorts. I'd at least like the stepping stone type that going to do us some good before he goes rather than some has been old fuckwit who's going to be sacked rather than poached.

Second off you try planning, building and fighting a court battle for a brand new football stadium in the over inflated South East of England with the contents of your piggy bank.

That was the point I was making mate....we are a stepping stone club!!!!

As for Falmer, I take it you didn't read my last bit.......Coppell is using the Falmer thing as an excuse when he knew what the situation was all along. What has changed from when he signed a contract in the summer? Has he heard that the chances are that it will be turned down? What does he know that we don't.

As for builing a stadium in the South east, Southampton managed it! It has taken us nigh on 6 years and we still dont know what the result will be.
