Sami Hyypia admits he is “very concerned” after Albion slipped into the relegation zone.
The Seagulls manager saw his side let slip a second-half lead to lose 2-1 at home to Fulham.
He admitted: "It's not a nice situation and I'm very concerned. We need to turn it around very quickly.
“This league is very tough and it's very tight as well. If we win a few games then we are out of the bottom three and in mid-table. It's very tight in the middle.
"It's not a nice position to be in and I think the fans have a right to be unhappy with the situation.
“What we can only do is concentrate on what we are doing and try to make everything better.
“We can't affect the opposition, referees, the weather, but we can affect what we do on the training field and we are working hard trying to correct what is going on.”
Darren Bent fired the Seagulls ahead in the 52nd minute. But then it all unravelled.
Hyypia said: “We stuck to the plan until we scored, then somehow we start to do different things.
“Our tempo on the ball went down and that invited more pressure on the ball when we were building up.
“Fulham got into a few situations where we just gave the ball away and that makes it very difficult.
“We still have things to learn when we go ahead. You need to be mentally strong, do the things we did before we scored.”
