Could be something to do with the Southern at War weekend at the Bluebell Railway. I know they were due to have a flypast each day...

Most weekends I have the spitfire fly over my house many times here in New Romney (Kent). We're under the flight path of the spitfire pleasure flight.
It's a sight and sound you never tire of.
