Chris Hughton is hoping for good news on defender Gaetan Bong after he was stretchered off with a knee injury.
The Albion boss will reserve judgement after the left-back was hurt late in the 0-0 draw at home to Preston.
The Seagulls boss said: “It’s his knee. It’s always best to wait until we are better informed to see the extent of it.
“He is sore at the moment. We will evaluate that over the next couple of days.
“He has been excellent for us and it was really disappointing to see him stretchered off.”
Dale Stephens missed the game due to what Hughton termed “a very slight thigh strain”.
Albion struggled to create chances against well-organsied North End.
Hughton*added: “I thought our better period was in the first half.
“We got into a lot of really good*positions, particularly in the wide areas, the crossing areas.
Hughton added: “In the end hopefully it’s not a bad point.”
