Stockdale also in contention for Reading. Has recovered. No guarantees from Hughton he'll go straight back into starting 11.
Hughton: "[Stockdale] is fine. He trained this morning and will be in the squad for the weekend. He's made a good recovery.
"It's a difficult decision that I have to [now] make but that's how it should be. You’ve got somebody that you want to push and then somebody who is our number one goalkeeper, and I don't think David Stockdale would want it any other way."
and the other long term absentees nearly back...
Hughton: "Huenemeier and Goldson are both very close. I would expect both of them to be functioning properly, well and available for first team action after the international break. We've got three games to go before that.
"We're expecting Uwe and Solly to be involved in the reserve (under-23s) game on Monday and expect Connor to be involved in one, maybe two of next three games for the under-23 side."
