Chris Hughton admitted Albion need more cutting edge after seeing them suffer another home defeat.
The Seagulls lost 1-0 to Wolves as Connor Goldson scored a first-half own goal.
Bruno hit the bar as the hosts chased a leveller and Lewis Dunk was denied by a brilliant last-gasp Carl Ikeme save.
Hughton said he could not fault the commitment of his team and felt they deserved something from the game.
He added: “I can’t really think apart from of course the goal they scored – which was an error from us – of a good goalscoring opportunity they had.
“We found it tough going and even the half-opportunities we had their goalkeeper was in good form.
“We have got to find a way to find these goals that we need.”
