Albion boss Chris Hughton says he has no hard feelings about the way he was treated by Norwich.
Hughton faces his former club at the Amex tomorrow for the first time since they sacked him a year ago.
The Canaries were outside the Premier League relegation zone when he got the chop and ended up going down under his replacement Neil Adams.
They are in the hunt to go straight back up from the Championship under ex-Hamilton manager Alex Neil, who replaced Adams in January.
Hughton told The Argus: “The game’s always going to be about making decisions and clubs and chairmen and CEOs will make decisions they feel are right at the time.
“From the moment I left Norwich I wanted only to look forward and I’ve been given a great opportunity here to try and develop something and improve our fortunes and very much look forward to next season.
“Clubs will always have reasons and sometimes their reasons can be right or they can be wrong.
“Do I have any animosity towards the club? Absolutely no. I look forward to seeing a lot of people that I spent time with and I will always look upon the club very fondly.”
Albion were just above the relegation zone when Hughton was appointed on New Year’s Eve but are now ten points clear of danger after two defeats in ten matches.
Hughton said: “My responsibility now is very much here and to see if I can get the club into some of the positions Norwich have been in during the last few years in this division.”
