Chris Hughton believes his new defender is off to a solid start in the Championship.
Uwe Huenemeier helped the Seagulls win 2-1 at Fulham yesterday.
He won possession to start the move for Sam Baldock's opening goal.

Hughton said: "He was physically tested by what they have got with big (Matt) Smith and with (Ross) McCormack, who's bright."He had to get in a few blocks.
"He was knocked about a bit, as were most of our defenders, but I thought overall he came out well."
Paderborn, the club Huenemeier left in midweek, lost 6-0 on Friday.
