Chris Hughton*has urged Albion to up their goals tally – after bringing their attack back to life.
The Seagulls are joint third top scorers in the Championship, with eight in five games, going into their table-topping cash with Hull City.
But Hughton believes they should have netted more often given the positions they have created.
Albion were alarmingly short of creativity in the final six weeks of last season.
Hughton feels they have rectified that – but that they should be hitting the net more often as a result.
He told The Argus: “You’re looking for the right formula to create chances, which I thought we did in our last game at Ipswich. The next stage is to be scoring more regularly.

“How do you achieve that? It’s down to lots of things. It’s the work you do on the training pitch, it’s about confidence, it’s about luck.
“And it’s about a desire to score.
“That’s all you can do. It either comes off or it doesn’t.”
Fans are unlikely to see Albion’s former goal king Bobby Zamora in the starting line-up to face the second-placed Tigers as he continues to strive for full sharpness.
But latest signing Elvis Manu comes into the reckoning after joining too late for the game at Portman Road.
Hull, who also have eight goals, have a minor doubt over striker Chuba Akpom because of a knee injury.
They are hoping Uruguayan forward Abel Hernandez returns in good shape after international duty in South America.
