Chris Hughton is hopeful of good news on Beram Kayal today as he plans for two away trips.
The midfielder left yesterday’s 2-0 win over Barnsley at half-time with an ankle injury.
Hughton already knows he must do without left-back Gaetan Bong at Ipswich on Tuesday.
Bong’s reaction to a free-kick awarded against him by referee Tim Robinson, pictured above,*was deemed worthy of a yellow card, his fifth already this season, which means a one-match ban.
Albion follow their trip to Portman Road with a game at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
Hughton will know more about Kayal’s state of fitness today.
The Albion boss said after the game: "He just rolled his ankle a little bit. He didn't think he could carry on second half. We'll see how it is tomorrow (today). My gut feeling is it isn't too bad.”
Hughton was disappointed with the nature of Bong’s yellow card.

His first culminated a super counter-attack featuring Bong, Anthony Knockaert and Kayal.
Hughton said of Murray: “Since he came that's his best all-round performance - the goals, his hold-up play, the runs. It was really nice to see, I really enjoyed his performance.
"I look forward to seeing the first goal again. It was a very good goal. We'll do well to score a better counter-attacking goal than that this season."
