I doubt the clackers (obviously not now) have been used much this season

I bet Mooy is happy he doesn't have to go back...

Yet he's managed to look Champions League & League One, this season.

Perhaps he should have stayed!

I’m struggling with him a bit, and at this moment am fence. Good ball for Connolly at Leicester but so one-footed.

I've never seen NSC's infatuation with him.
I was less than whelmed when he arrived on loan.
Since then I've been proven right...

...then very wrong, to the point of 'oh I get it now'...

...then proven right again...

...now I'm left with my whelm in neutral.

looking at their players, I wondered why they're in the predicament they find themselves in. Willock ex-Arsenal on loan from Benfica , wtf ?

I always rated him at Huddersfield, so was pleased that we did sign him at the time, but I guess he was a big fish in a small pool......

I may be wrong though and he's a world beater........ and will all of a sudden start playing well again. I think if Gross had performed in a similar manner he would have got slaughtered.

What's going on up there ?
Premier League relegation and looking in real danger of falling out of the championship now too.

El Presidente will be able to put me right but iirc a rather good football finance podcast mentioned that they changed ownership and the parachute payments were basically used as collateral for the purchase or to pay off debt or something like that. So their time in the PL hasn't helped them at all financially and I imagine we can expect them to return to Championship/L1 level for a while.

Ah, except Luton

You were very nearly correct. They were actually one of the founder members of the PL, but got relegated in '92, along with Notts County the two founders who never played in the inaugural season or since. Useless but interesting pub quiz question.

Funny to think if we'd beaten County in the '91 play off we would have been founder members.

Agreed. I said this at the time around Xmas when people were suggesting he’s a £20M player or whatever. He’s the wrong side of 30, he’s an alright player but I’d be surprised if he’s still here after next season.

Yes he can play a great ball but he is so slow

six feet beneath the moon...
reluctant to criticise the sackings of other club's managers because of the reaction we got when Ch was sacked from a lot of outsiders who really didn't understand the full story as to why, but this does seem crazy, even hudds fans seem upset

Tommy Elphick placed in charge for final game of the season. Good for him
