I thought we played fairly well. Extremely difficult conditions. Threw away two points with that own goal.

The ball would hardly travel after half time. Stop dead in most places on the pitch.

We were the better team, should have made more of our box possession.

Yeah I agree with that. The writing was on the wall when our best bit of football of the game put Hammond through on goal. The goalie saved.

The pattern of this season is that when that happens, the opposition go on to deprive us of the win. On this occasion it took just 30 seconds.

I thought a draw was a fair result, their no7 put in some lovely crosses.

Did anyone else think Gifton should have had a penatly in the first half?

LI mentioned that earlier. I think it should have been given and maybe even one late on in the second half.

If Robbie Elliot got sent off for blocking SWP then GNWs foul was a clear cut penalty. I could see that being given by a number of refs. Not enough consistency.

Don't Mention The War
I thought Luton where all over us in the first half, there number 7 completely raped Joel Lynch, we went ahead with a great header by GNW I don't think we deserved the lead through, Hammond had a great chance to put us 2-0 ahead during the second half but blew it. Luton equaliser was just down to luck. I didn't actually see how it went in because I'm in Block C.

We're doomed now, there is no way we'll win 6 games out of 6.

League One here we come.

Gifton beat one of their players and it seemed a fairl obvious body check to stop him getting by. Looked a definite penalty. There was one in the second as well, when someone (not sure who, maybe Chippy?) was cut down just inside the box.

I thought the ref was shocking. He books McShane for (50/50?) a strong challange then lets two go without a word minutes after.

Was was the penatly call in the second half? It was hard to see from where i was sitting... the monsoon didnt help either.

Not the most consistent of refs! Plus Luton got away with about 4 examples of kicking the ball away until the last one.

He didn't even bother to intervene when Henderson and their striker had a bit of a tete a tete.

When he got sat on, towards the end. I might be getting a bit carried away, but thought he was impeded and then he couldn't get on his feet as he was being sat upon!

Monsoon :lolol: I haven't been as wet as that since my trip to the Cloudforest. Not as heavy as the quick burst at the Milwall game, but much more prolonged.
