USA have a lot of old West Indians in their team... Including the VERY hard hitting Clayton Lambert... Although he's a bit old now (42)!

Team USA beat Zimbabwe by 4 wickets in their second practice game in preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy.

Zimbabwe who batted first scored a imposing 272 for 4 in their 50 overs only to find Team USA overtaking the target in the last over.

Nasir Islam with 3 wickets for 48 runs was the most successful USA bowler.

USA finished with 273 for 6 in 49.4 overs.

Batting mainstay, Steve Massiah scored a match wining 142 not out while Rohan Alexander (42) and Nasir Islam (30 not out) lent him good support.

I think there could be some serious upsets in this tournament as the weather could reduce some games to slogs over not many overs.

Did I also hear that games will start at 10.15??!! If that's the case then winning the toss and fielding will be a massive advantage. It's September guys, there's dew in the mornings and that will mean pitches are gonna be pretty damn lively that early in the morning.

When there are some big team skittled out early batting first, just remember where you heard it first.

;)

Might be worth pointing out that the first ever cricket Test match was played between USA and Canada. Like Scotland and England in football they may have been the first but other nations have overtaken them now.
