A very respectable five. Why do they taste so nice at the time, then inevitably leave you feeling sick?
lots of fat involved in the ones i enjoyed on a temporary basis last night... Delia's recipe involves adding melted butter to the batter mix before cooking in more butter - we then rolled ours up with a nice cheese sauce and broccoli filling, finishing them off in the oven with some grated cheddar on top...

also, why does the first one always turn out CRAP...? I told Ms. Gariani to expect this, without really believing it would this time - but lo and behold the first one turns out undersized and unevenly cooked while the next one out of the pan is a beauty...?

Four, well three and a half as the last one was using up the last of the batter and ended up a bit small. They were goooooood. The banana and chocolate sauce one was the clear winner.

can I FIXTURES myself?

Having read a few more threads this morning I've just found the earlier one which includes a copy of Delia's pancake recipe... I'm genuinely sorry - I guess I just hadn't bargained on it already being mentioned...
