[Travel] How is the RMT rail strike affecting Btn-Vic services?

We're supposed to be going to London on Saturday on the train - a RMT Strike day. The National Rail planner is still showing lots of trains running. Does anyone have any experience of what it was like yesterday?

How many trains cancelled?
Early finish?
How packed?

fully expect a lot of changes to what they say is running. Don't be surprised to also see "signal failures" "incidents" "lack of train crew" pop up randomly too.

Also I'd advise not to leave it to the last advertised train home.

You will get there and back but from my experience on these days , its more trouble than its worth

Morning and afternoon services should be OK. I wouldn't risk relying on an evening train.
