A friend of mine got married a couple of weeks ago and I spoke to her yesterday for the first time since her wedding (which I couldn't go to).

She told me that the evening had ended with a bit of barney as some bloke had a made a pass at her and her husband had then got involved: it all got very nasty.

Now, I've met some chancers in my time but that's the limit. Can anyone match someone trying to pull a bride on her wedding night? I can still scarcely believe it (although Laura's not untruthful so I guess it actually happened). What sort of conscience does this guy have?

blimey a misunderstanding at a wedding?....NEVER!

My guess:

Bloke walks upto Bride and Says "Can i buy you a drink?" all meant in the Congrats on getting married way, she took it has "he wants in on my knickers!" and runs off to her new hubby

Yeah, I've scarcely been to a wedding where there's not been a fight.

Crabtree. My friend doen't exaggerate; when she says some bloke tried it on, she means that he tried it on. It wasn't just a drink. If anything, she's been inclined to be friendly to guys (thinking that they're being friendly) when they're clearly trying to get into her knickers.

I'm still astounded by the nerve of it.

Perhaps the bloke just likes a bird in uniform, I have a complete subset of my enormous pornography collection devoted to wedding related rumpo, and in nearly every one the husband, best man, members of the stag party, vicar, photographer, page boys, chauffeur, bell boy at the honeymoon hotel and assorted members of the congregation all get to slip one to the lucky lady in white. I just assume this is normal behaviour.

I also have a welsh one where the father of the bride joins in too.
