In the photo before the bath one (very disturbing), there is a MAGNIFICENT suit.

Presumeably this was the 1935 equivalent of the Liverpool White Suit FIASCO.

The bath picture does look very odd, the player near the taps looks like he's been caught in the act

There is a brilliant photo in Tim Carder's book from the winter of 1962/63 of the club using tar-melting machines to soften the pitch to get a game against Crystal Palace on. It turned the pitch into a bog and we lost 2-1

I bet none of the people in these pictures felt like stangers in there own land. most of these people where poor but had a better qualty of life than we do.
