Great. His understanding is getting better and he may even score a goal from open play now

He can't have much of a future at Reading if they are still prepared to leave him out on loan after selling Butler.

he's getting better each game so another month wont do any harm at all. The partnership with Knight is starting to blossom into something mighty...lets hope he gets better and stays even longer :)

Pardew will have the option to recall him immediately.

Odds on him doing just that about a week into the loan to piss us off (further) ?

Highly likely given that Reading do not have a game next week but face West Ham the following Saturday :(

There is no point in calling him back now when they have a free Saturday coming up, but could well go after Saturday.

Can't see Henderson coming back to us for a fair while, unless we fail to bring in a striker. Butler went for £150k, and was on £6k+ per week, so there's now plenty of scope to bring in another player.

We've currently got eyes for Kevin Lisbie (god knows why), and for Gary Doherty who can play centre-back and centre-forward, so with all this activity, it seems Henderson isn't coming back for a long time.

This constant one-month contract business is a joke IMHO!I think there should be a minimum 3 month contract and a clause where the club have to give at least a 1 game warning before recalling a player! That would shock that prat Pardew!:salute:

Yeah but then managers wouldn't loan anybody out. You haven't really thought this through have you:rolleyes:

I just think there needs to be some kind of guarantee so that clubs can't just go "oh dear we haven't got enough players we'll have (player) back" Then maybe there won't be so many of these dodgily put together loan deals like Henderson's! :censored:

Whats the point in goingt on about a player getting better when he is on a short loan and could be gone anytime and even a poxy injury in training at reading would do it.

Time to get a long term striker as this loan shite is doing the head in.   :shootself
