it was clearly an OG and there is no way that should be creditted any other way its not as if it was headed to the goal or shot to the goal and came off the opposing player, Henderson headed it down the player running back belted it in. OG!

For the record (if we're getting pedantic here), it wasn't a header. The defending was so appalling that Henderson actually had time and chested the ball down (unchallenged) before smashing it across the goal. It would probably have gone wide, but the defender slid in and obliged for us, 1-0 thankyouverymuch.

Quite why anyone can get worked up about an Albion player claiming an Albion goal, I really have no idea. As Brighton Bird so rightly said - Who cares - it was a goal.

i am very sorry to hear that most uncalled for and as a Mod surely you should know that FG and Mullers are NOT the same person and this was NOT said by FG so i can only assume you refer to Mullers speaking rather stupidly. Don't forget his racist remarks. I believe that the call vetting on SCR should extend to racists and bigots. I will probably be called a pinko liberal but I can never understand all this crap about non-censorship on the internet. The slightest mention of a ban or censorship will create howls of protest about free speech. But if someone like FG came out with some of the stuff he does on here on the street in a pub - he could and probably should be arrested.

As I accept that the mods will never take it upon themselves to ban these muppets - they will stay on my ignore list and I would suggest that everyone else does the same. As I've said before, I'm not going to be responsible for a sad, bigoted loser getting his kicks from tising to the bait.
