All I know is there is nothing BT can do and that you will more than likely have to pay.

The same thing happened to a mate and he had to pay up :nono:

You could try what my Dad's being doing for over 15 years.

He disputed a call on his itemised bill. BT said it had been rung from his number so he had to pay. Ever since he has just deducted the price of the disputed call from each bill.

He has never been cut off ( yet ) ! :)

Think i'll just pay for what i've used and not the rest, see what happens then.

Don't just talk to the member of staff who answers the phone.

Ring back and ask to speak to a supervisor. If you get nowhere then insist on speaking to a manager.

Keep calm and keep insisting with a calm voice. Don't use put downs to the operator.

You are far more likely to get somewhere with a manager because the others don't have the authority to remove anything off of your bill.

It's a pity that Watchdog isn't on tv at present but do say that you are going to the press about it.

Be a nuisance as the details of your call will register each time you ring up.
