Have arsenal finally learned how to defend

Against all the negativity in the close season from the so called pundits, media and Arsenal fans, Arsene Wenger seems to have done it again only this time they are superb the performance against Liverpool was, at times, breathtaking.

I don't get the 'new' Wenger love-in.

Surely it should be a case 'oh sorry we were wrong to give you a hard time'.

Arsenal have always been competitive in the Prem and Champs league, while being prudent.
Now they have added one of the worlds top 10 players to a competitive team, and guess what, they got better.

I have to say, as much as I dislike arsenal and their crap middle class "new football" supporters, I love watching this side play football. The way thay stroke the ball round the pitch and the movement off the ball is amazing.

That's the struggle i have - i enjoy watching them play, but unfortunately that would mean agreeing with a lot of Arsenal supporting friends and co-workers. A few of them, are absolute morons. I also find many of their fans to have a very narrow view of Football - as if teams below the premiership don't exist.
I also really struggle to like Wenger; i think it stems from back in 2005 or whenever he claimed that Arsenal were the best side in the league, yet lost the league to Man Utd.

Unbelievable seeing as they were doomed, Wenger needed to go and it was a complete meltdownfest from pundits and fans when they lost the FIRST game of the season.
