Argus friday... have- a- go -hero beaten for chasing 2 robbers over an envolope containing just £2ooo......would you ? is your life worth just 2 grand? im all for someone having a go, but for a pittance? or whatever, i mean what if he stopped em and they got sent down, whats the reward .. 500 max by the court maybe... he could have been shot, stabbed... who knows... its not his money so why bother ?

I don't know if I would I suppose it depends on if the adrenalin kicks in. If it was a shop robbery, probably no but a bag snatch yes. It seems more personal than a shop robbery.

Did he know the amount in the envelope? I haven't read the story but the guy appears to have tried to put right a wrong. Guess the value doesn't come into it.

Are you extremely well off or something? £2,000 is not a pittance to me, so yes, I'd've fought tooth and nail to get it back.
