My birthday April 3rd home to Hartlepool, apllied for tickets along with 15 mates and some of these so called BHA fans want to watch the Arse v Man Ure semi final at 12pm in a pub, trouble is I wanted to go to the Sportsman around 12ish and get tanked up before the game, saves effort getting cab/train from central Brighton.....now my plan has been thrown into the air as I dont know whether they have TV's! (cant remember seeing any last time I went)

Anyone know?

They have TV's but don't seem to show any footie (or Rugby for that matter) before matches, not that I can remember anyway.

Easy solution to this problem MARC.

Watch the game in a pub around Preston Circus and then get a bus to the ground.

Its a Brewers Fayre pub (or some such chain) - therefore, you will NEVER get a TV on showing the footy in there.

You can, however, have quite a nice steak and ale pie.

If there's football on that we want to watch we go to the preston brewery tap pub on the main road.

Cool stuff, I'll let them know, more likely to be the pubs near the main station as we can get cabs easier and involves less walking!

Why did I bother. I told Crabtree that in a pm.

I thought I won't tell everyone because it is just right there. Close to the station and the ground, good food and tv's

Now everyone knows :lolol:

Oh well I'll have to drink a pint now instead of halves because we won't be able to get near the bar.

its the 15mins that I dont like, 15mins less drinking time! thats why I originally chose the Sportsman, still may go there as I dont care for the Semi until the Sunderland Millwall clash!
but we'll see

I'll be in CITY after the match anyway, more than likely have dinner at Subway then wander around the pubs and end up in the Standard as usual!

Park View has a TV which seems to be permanently on Sky Sports.
