Seems to me that many clubs are just like franchises or have temporary club identities with players coming in for short term solutions then off to other clubs a few months later.

I understand that football has changed over the laste 10 years or so but is this for the better of the game.

Players are swapped / sold and loaned so much now just to suit a clubs short term goals thats its difficult to identify some clubs over a six month period not to mention from one season to another,

Having grown up following football since the 70's I believe football has progressed spectacularly and yet not advanced for the better in many ways over the years.

Billionaires ruin football. Bridge/adebayor/adam johnson/scott sinclair/rodwell/Jo etc etc all go to man city for inflated prices and hugely inflated wages. they never want to leave even though half of them are never played. Eventually they go out on loans to get first team football but never want to move permanently and lose their wages.

Realistically, how much are rodwell and sinclair going to play this season?
And moses to chelsea... theres another list of players, SWP/moses/benayoun/sidwell.
These clubs snap up anyone and everyone for extortionate prices and ruin the players when they need the most football. Walcott and Chamberlain should've stayed at Soton until they were older and would've got first team football week in week out. Theres no longer any club loyalty from players. RVP to united. Disgraceful. Money talks far too much
