I have been playing it a fair bit, and apart from the free kicks and corners (which I havent got the hang of yet) I am really enjoying it.
It is brilliant playing as the Albion, the kits look excellant.
Shame about the old badge being used, but never mind.
Give it a go, its pretty good.
I have PES2 and was not that impressed, so havent bothered with PES3 yet.
The good thing is that FIFA has lots of official teams and grounds, something that in my opinion, PES lacks.
The gameplay is stunning is PES3, and from playing FIFA 2004, pes is farrrrr better. It may have the Albion on there, but I've made them up on PES and although its not a perfect kit, the players are far more realistic looking then on FIFA.
I got it for PS2 on Friday. Haven't had a chance to play it a great deal yet, but my first observation is, it's pretty different to 2003.
Visually it's better than before.
Gameplay wise, I like the way you can move another playing ahead of you to set up a pass. Seems like the computer will let you go quite a way with the ball without tackling you.
Complaints are that the ref gives fouls too easily. All you do is brush past a player and they're rolling around, and you get a free kick/yellow card against you. Also the R2 close down/tackle button seems like an easy cop out way of getting the ball.
Like all Fifa footy games, it will take some getting used to. Will probably have a better opinion after an evening with a mate and a few beers.
At the end of the day, I'll play it because me and my mates have bought all Fifa games for PS1 & 2 since 1999, and we don't get on with PES. I know loads of people rate PES higher, but you won't change me I'm afraid!
