Sorry I missed this. How are you today?

I had covid for the first time last October, which wasn't nice but not severe, thanks to vaccinations.

Thanks TB - 😍

Im still in hospital but just seen Doctor - going home tomorrow armed with an Arsenal of drugs! 🙂

I guess there are still lots of people having breakthrough infections - would be so much worse if we were not vaccinated ( and in my case every booster!)

Sorry to hear that old boy, had it in Spain the week before last, the 28 degree heat helped but it was just like a very bad cold and annoying cough.

Sorry to hear that, hope all's well now.

I've been very ropey for a few days, did a test this afternoon and 3 years in, 4 jabs and however long in shielding the bastard finally got me.

Quite worrying as I have cystic fibrosis but fortunately it looks like I've not been unlucky. Paramedics have popped by to do an assessment and got some input from a C.F. specialist and progress of the disease seems to be rather run of the mill. I've only got 45% lung function on a good day and it's down on that but my oxygen saturation is holding up OK.

Feel like shit but with a bit of luck I'll be all clear for the bank holiday weekend.

Best wishes to the blighted. Still cross with the complacent nobs who think it was just nothing. Hope everyone still suffering pulls through.

@Pevenseagull - I do hope you are feeling better - I also have a chronic lung disease including an aspergillus fumigatus allergy - (which CF sufferers are also prone to) as well as asthma, so I feel for you - I do hope you are feeling better - my sats are still dropping periodically post Covid - 87~94% most days.
How you feeling Zeb?
Hi Phil - sorry for late reply - apart from now with a significant drop in lung function, waiting for a gallbladder to be removed ( that hit me out of the blue at the weekend!) and at high risk of a retinal detachment for the next few weeks, (that hit me yesterday!) - just dandy! - but seriously thanks for asking 😍
sorry to hear that mate, really..... have you been vaxxed at all recently?
Yes, both vacs and all the boosters for clinically vulnerable but I’ve been on steroids for much of the past two years so a bit immunosuppressed - it’s more than likely I got it going to the Palace home game last month 🙄

You have been, and are in my thoughts.

Just a general comment, when examining your own liver region it's best to move your head slowly in the general direction. A collision can have consequences.

I'll get my coat.

Severe? No, at least not yet. But after dodging the bullet for three years it finally nailed us last week. Daughter came down with it first on Wednesday evening. Wife got it Thursday night. It got me on Saturday. Luckily a 6-0 win for the Albion helped lift my spirits.

I think (hope) I'm over the worse, but it still lingering for me. Cough, runny nose, periods of intense shivers followed by periods of burning up hot. Not fun, but glad I had all the jabs.

My daughter bounced right back. She'll go back to school tomorrow. Me and the wife have both lost our sense of smell.

Hope Zeb is fully recovered.
