Harveys at Sussex CCC

Random question - does anyone know whether Harveys is usually (or will be) served at Sussex CCC for the forthcoming season?

It was only served in the members areas last year, Old Speckled Hen was the only ale option in general admission areas

The members bar also has guest ales as well, the best Harveys is often served straight out the barrel from the temporary bar that is sometimes set up inside the main scoreboard. Might be all their extra capacity is used for the AMEX these days....

Not a chance, the main contract is with Greene King, hence IPA, Aspalls and Becks Vier being the poision available.

Pretty sure only place to get Harveys is in the main pavillion, which is members only

Sorry if I misled. Being a member did not realise it was not served in non member areas although was there not a Harveys bus serving a couple of seasons back for non members?

They changed it last year. You could always get it all round the ground but from last year it was member's only.

A lack of available Harveys and a tie-in with Crawley FC, it's like they don't want my support

Old Speckled Hen was the "sponsoring beer" last season. Alway made me smile, seeing its name plastered all over the covers - watering down the beer?

Dave "Old Speckled" Brookes did a deal with Greene King which has limited the beer choice. SCCC not as aware of customer preferences as BHA.
