I have heard a rumour that we have received an offer of £750K for Harding from Everton..... pending the Premiership transfer deadline on Jan 1st reopening. What do we think if true?

Wish him all the best, be proud of him when he plays for the England under 21's and be relieved we have some more money in the coffers to fight the NIMBYs.

No

hold out for £1.2m, then we've filled the black hole. :)

Nice to see such a reasonable, level-headed post from someone about Dan Harding.

Good on ya Yorkie.

PS For what it's worth, how many of our other players would be likely to attract bids of £750K?

A lot of the anti-Dan mob don't realise that he is young and likely to improve a lot. He has the pace that makes it look as if he is coasting. If he was huffing and puffing people would appreciate him more as a trier.

If Dan goes we must make sure that Hinsh stays.

hinsh is the best out of our young crop, thats why losing curries is more of a blow than cullip.

hinsh was fantastic in the forest and gillingham match and seems to have grown with everygame

If ElAbd was left footed, Harding would be lucky to get on the bench.

If I were Harding I'd be champing at the bit to leave the club. The abuse and criticism that he has had from most NSC posters over the last few months has been way over the top. Why we continually knock our better players never ceases to amaze me. How many people will be eating their words, I wonder, when Dan plays very well for Everton in the New Year?

The Currie knockers have already been choked - next up the Harding knockers I hope.

I can see your point Zebedee, but I think the thing about Harding is the way he and his agent have conducted themselves over the last few months. I can understand the fans feelings when he beleives his future is else where.
This club has invested a lot of money in the lad and all he seems interested in is his self.
Currie a month ago would have snatched a new two year contract out of Dicks hand, that is the difference.
There is a little of the Zamora attitude I think now from Harding, I am bigger than this club.

Maybe but most of us still hold Zamora in high regard and would be glad to see him play in the blue and white stripes again. Harding seems to be universally loathed at present simply for trying to better himself.

Oh so would I, but dont get me wrong here but Zamora's attitude in his last season was never the same as previous ones.

I disagree. I think Harding is loathed for being shite and costing us at least 3 games this season. He hasn't been cutting it of late and I think that is what pisses fans off first and foremost
